  • All Teachers, Principals, Elementary Lab Managers, Technology Directors, Early Childhood Instructors, and District Instructional Technology Specialists are coming together to collaborate, inspire one another, and plan for innovation. Topics vary and connect with trending needs that support effective use of technology.

We have been able to bring in speakers, trainers, vendors, and provide interactive activities that push teachers beyond traditional methods.

  • A like-minded group of instructional technologists and innovators across Region 14 who come together monthly to collaborate, dig in, plan, share, explore, and support one another in technology and innovation.

    Topics May Include:

    • Classroom Trends
    • Google Updates
    • Latest instructional technology resources and strategies
    • Campus insights, needs, discoveries, and support

Contact Hilary Miller to be added to the Dig Inn events.

  • The Digital Innovation team has supported TCEA invention/arena robotics competitions since TCEA first allowed students to compete. In an effort to continue the robotics since TCEA stopped hosting their student competitions, Region 14 has provided support in VEX, Best, and FLL (First Lego League) to provide competition opportunities and connection with career and technology education.

Through Region 14, the Digital Innovation team has created a cohort for robotics called Gear Box.

Gear Box is your ultimate destination for revolutionizing robotics education in the classroom! As a passionate group of educators, we strive to empower students with the latest knowledge and skills in robotics. Join us for our exciting monthly meetings, where we delve into robotics, igniting young minds with creativity and problem-solving abilities.

Contact Luke Hurst to be added to Gearbox.

  • Initiated when districts began contacting the Digital Innovation team in regards to conversations on UIL implementing eSports as a competitive event. Region 14 Digital Innovation has been able to support surrounding districts with collaboration with McMurry University's eSports team. Recently, Region 14 has partnered with Taylor Telecom and the Fiber Gaming Network to provide free gaming opportunities for schools across the region regardless of service provider. Region 14 has been instrumental in creating a recruiting ground for higher education and industry opportunities in the Big Country.

In collaboration with McMurry, this has led to hosting the R14 Warhawk Invitationals since 2023.
