Region 14 STEAM Adventure
Join us for an inspiring hands-on event for 3rd–5th grade students at Abilene Christian University (Hunter Welcome Center).

Dates & Times: 
Choose one date: March 4, 5, or 6. 
Available slots: 9:00 AM, 9:45 AM, 10:30 AM, or 11:15 AM.

Hosted by the Region 14 ESC’s STEM Team aims to inspire young minds (3-5th grade) and spark their curiosity in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).

  • Date:  March 4th, March 5th, March 6th (Choose One)

  • Location:  Abilene Christian University (ACU) in the Hunter Welcome Center.

  • Time Slots: 9:00 AM, 9:45 AM, 10:30 AM, or 11:15 AM

How It Works

 

  1. Arrival: Arrive at your designated time slot. Students will have the opportunity to view and interact with Student Showcase projects before they enter their first Zone. Interested in having students showcase their work? Click Here To Register For GT Showcase

  2. Rotation: Students will rotate through three different STEAM Zones.

  3. Zone Time: You will spend approximately 45 minutes in each room.

  4. Exploration: Each room will offer hands-on activities and exploration opportunities.

Lunch Expectations:

 

Please note that lunch will not be provided at the event.

You are welcome to have students bring a sack lunch to enjoy before or after your rotations depending on the time slot you choose. 

 

Confetti Emoji Students will receive a t-shirt this year. Please start gathering t-shirt sizes for your group. This information will be needed at the time of registration.

 


Cost:

 

Ticket pricing is set at $4 per student attendee ($2 if you are part of our Title IV SSA).Teachers and administrators can attend at no charge as long as they have their district ID badge. Chaperones for the schools also attend at no charge with badge identification from the school.

 

We do ask that a purchase order (PO) be completed and emailed prior to the event. Payment is NOT required prior to the event as long as a valid PO has been submitted. Invoicing will take place during the week following the event.

 

Last year, over 1100 students attended this event, and we anticipate even greater participation this year!
