Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200)

The "Uniform Guidance," officially Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (2 CFR) Part 200, standardized the administrative, cost, and audit requirements for federal grants.

This regulation became effective on December 26, 2014, and is the governing authority for all federal awards issued by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) to the state or to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) from that date forward.
