CTE Math and Science Online Training
All educators teaching one of the CTE math or CTE science courses that meet a high school graduation requirement (listed below) must complete a math or science professional development course. The TEA provides these courses on the Texas Gateway Online Resources site at no cost to the educator or school district.

NEW TEACHER COHORT
CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION NEW TEACHER COHORT
Region 14 New Teacher CTE Cohort is designed to work with new and experience teachers beginning a teaching career in Career and Technical Education. (0-5 years of CTE experience) Many CTE teachers come from industry with content knowledge but minimum knowledge of the classroom. Some new CTE teachers have years of classroom experience but minimum knowledge of CTE. These workshops are built around the needs of the cohort while learning skills for classroom management, working with special populations, and instructional design. The cohort meets 4 times a year for professional development of CTE.
