About the Compliance Academy

The Title I, Part A Compliance Academy delivers focused, in-depth instruction essential for achieving and maintaining compliance and developing expertise in Title I, Part A.

 

Who Should Attend?

This one-and-a-half-day academy would benefit district/charter administrators that work in a school system that receives Title I, Part A funds. Additionally, the academy would be beneficial for campus administrators, teachers, and staff at campuses implementing a Title I, Part A Schoolwide Program (SWP) or Targeted Assistance Program (TAP).

This one and a half day conference is open to all school system/charter directors, administrators, teachers and staff implementing a Title I, Part A Schoolwide Program (SWP) or a Targeted Assistance Program (TAP).

The Title I, Part A Academy is designed to provide intensive learning for compliance and academic best practices and enhance your skills to gain valuable insights and expertise in the world of Title I, Part A.

To foster a collaborative environment where educators serving Title I, Part A campuses can come together to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and develop strategies to provide all children significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps. Through workshops, discussions, and networking opportunities, participants will gain insights into effective practices and compliance.

Whether you’re new to Title I or a seasoned professional, this event will equip you with the knowledge and tools necessary to ensure your programs meet compliance standards and continue to make a positive impact on student success!

  • Classroom assistance: Help with activities, read to students, or assist with projects.
  • School events: Volunteer at events like book fairs, fundraisers, or school dances.
  • Library support: Help with shelving books or reading to students.
  • Field trips: Accompany classes on educational outings.
     

Participating in School Organizations:

  • Parent-Teacher Association (PTA): Attend meetings, participate in fundraising, and support school initiatives.
  • School Site Council: Participate in decision-making processes. Requires a monthly time commitment for attending the council meeting.
