What is Cyberbullying from Stopbullying.gov Website - This resource contains definitions, prevention strategies, toolkits, and helpful videos to assist staff, students, and families with understanding bullying.

 AfterBabel.com Website - Social Media's impact on student conflict has been enormous.  This link contains articles chronicling the impact of technology and social media on conflict processes at individual and cultural levels, and makes recommendations for large changes to address underlying problems that fuel bullying and cyberbullying. 

Generation Tech - Dr. Jean Twenge is one of the foremost researchers on the impact of smartphones and social media on teen and young adult relationships and mental health.  Click this link to travel to her Substack full of articles and resource information on that impact.

Prevent Cyberbullying - Cyberbullying prevention, definitions, characteristics, myths and facts are all easily accessed here in teen friendly language with an additional section that helps teens find the words to talk to their parents or another adult and know what steps to take next if they are in a cyberbullying situation. 

Raising Digitally Responsible Youth - This guide for parents and caregivers gives general suggestions on helping to navigate a digital household as well as helping parents/caregivers learn the essentials so they may understand the digital world of today and learn all potential risks in the newest apps available to kids and teens.

NCMEC Cyber Tip Line - The nation’s centralized reporting line for suspected online enticement of children for sexual acts, child sexual molestation, child sexual abuse material, child sex tourism, child sex trafficking, unsolicited obscene materials sent to a child, misleading domain names, and misleading words or digital images on the internet.

"Take It Down" from NCMEC - This service provided my the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children can help remove online nude, partially nude, or sexually explicit photos and videos taken before age 18.

NCMEC KidSmartz - a child safety program that educates families about preventing abduction and empowers kids in grades K-5 to practice safer behaviors. This program offers resources to help parents, caregivers, and teachers protect kids by teaching and practicing the 4 Rules of Personal Safety using classroom lessons, at-home lessons, parent tips, and fun printable activities.
